Robin Schulz & Felix Jaehn - One More Time feat. Alida

I wonder if it is a synthesized vocal or just a vocal sample processed in such a way that finally such an amazing effect is obtained.
How can you get a similar effect?

I'm fine.

So it's a only chop vocal. Working with audio samples can be annoying because the speed of the notes changes to the piano roll and even chords often sounds bad.
I recently tried to make melodies with a cut vocal but it sounded very strange and did not fit the chords but it was probably because some notes had to have a different pitch despite the fact that I was arranging the melodies according to the key.
But I have to get deeper into sampling because you can achieve interesting results.

An autotune type effect after the vocal chops can help make sure any note will fit the song key/scale
