Peter,
Could you please clarify, as I didn't receive an answer to this:
Does Amplitube need to be online to be able to use the custom shop stuff?
You only need to be online to demo (or buy) gear. Otherwise you do not.

Anyone else going Pokemon on this? I already went in at 199 and 99, I've got 95 unused Gear credits, if I go in at 79 and 39 credits I collect everything. So basically $25 gets me the entire package.

My only concern here is the way IK work with ownership, quite possibly Apple Silicon compatibility for everything will cost a pretty penny in updates.

Who knows, everyone is doing their own thing currently when it comes to native M1 support. At least everything works in Rozetta 2, even that's not true for all publishers yet.

I am pretty tempted to get something that would qualify me to clean out the Sampletank packs. P r e t t y t e m p t e d

Peter,

Just verifying that this is the case. All of the Uno Synth Products are eligible for the GB at the price point they sell at, being both the Uno Synth Pro and the Uno Synth Pro Desktop? Also, does this mean any OTHER hardware not listed in the GB qualifies by chance?

Ive had Sampletank through a few updates, cant remember it being anymore $$ than anyone else…rather the opposite.

The only real negatives is you need to download sound libraries within 180 days or they do charge you a fee to access it again. No else does this as far as I know, and the whole downloading and installing of large libraries like Miroslav and Sampletank are a little archaic.

I dont really use software too much but when I do my go to’s are IK muktimedia rather than Native Instruments, which was my number one for many years. The MODO bass and the hammond are real class leaders from what Ive delved in so far…I imagine the mellotron and MODO drums are too. Ive yet to compare the tracks gear against my UAD collection but there seems to be a couple of diamonds in there like the Dyna Mu and Sunset Sound reverb already.

Yep. Going Pokemon is a good way of putting it. Without this promotion, I wasn't even planning to upgrade to Amplitube 5 at all. I thought the upgrade price was too steep. Upgrading to MAX to get the MAX/Custom Shop-only extras was definitely out of the question.

When those Amplitube items that aren't in any of the other collections got added to the list, I made an extra purchase of a cheap item on the list just to scoop them all up. I call it the Amplitube Everything Else set.

There are 30 total Amplitube CS-only items (10 amps, 7 cabs, 11 stomps, 2 mics) so one purchase alone won't get enough choices by itself to get them all. But you can get really close. Or go full tilt Pokemon and make two purchases, get them all and a bunch of other stuff with the extra group buy choices.

Never mind justifying it. 25-for-1 usually makes the math a no-brainer.

UNO Synth Pro is not listed at https://www.ikmultimedia.com/25gb/ thus should not be a qualifier. The hardware listed there is officially part of the group buy.

Custom Shop use to have a drop down "Not Purchased".
In the new version it's gone. It's quite a bit more trouble to figure out what I don't already own to pick up as a GB freebie. :(

It has the little green checkmarks beside what you own.

Quick question guys: does IK give you the ability to register your hardware gear before actually getting it at home? I'm scared if I order iRig Keys i/o 49 now it'd ship too late for me to get the freebies.

Guaranteed, it will just be a version update that supports M1, they did the same with 64bit and Sampletank, that is the whole point to these group buys, to get you to buy the update that they already have finished and waiting to release.
If your plugin is a C++ creation, please don't say so.
If it is, pop round Marcos, he has just bought you a Mac to port it.

The registration code is inside the box. So you need to actually have the iRig Keys in your possession and to open the box to get it.

I think Peter said no.
Serial number is in the sealed retail box so their warehouse isn't going to want to open those.
