KORG Collection Special Box Presets For Korg M1 Legacy V2

Post

Also hoping for a resize update on Legacy Cell.
But support has been relatively pointless on my ARP standalone crashing when trying to change the driver to ASIO on Win 10. (It works as it should on Win 7.)
With each new request, I get one email to reinstall it. After which they ghost me when I tell them "that's done and it didn't fix it."

They seem to only address things when they reach a critical mass with each issue.

Yes and the ARP is not exactly HDpi either

I had my fair share of crashes with each model included in Korg Collection. I always figured that sound quality was worth it. I kept restarting the DAW and worked some more on the project etc. I never reported them, after reading similar comments online about multiple crashes with different models. It wasn't that bad in my case anyway. Most of the crashes kept happening, when I was closing the project after saving, so I could live with that. No idea what caused these errors.
I'm still on Windows 8.1 and I thought, that perhaps my problems were due to older OS. Now you've mentioned ARP (I don't own it) and crashes in Windows 10. That does not look good, if I ever need to upgrade my computer.

It is only the standalone though. So more of an annoyance than a crippling problem. Works great in all of my DAWs and VST hosts. But it has been an indicator of their support for me, which causes me to be skeptical of ever being an early adopter of their products. Still, I-KM is even worse at this servile or scraping and ghosting their issues away.

Korg is a nostalgic and guilty pleasure for me really. I can easily wait for them to get it right and on sale before adding to the collection.

Standalone versions are definitely a huge crash fest in my case. My problem with KORG VSTs is nothing compared to getting an error every time I close their .exe equivalent. That goes for every single model in the collection, no idea why.

IK Multimedia and Waves responded to my support tickets in the past. They did not fix existing issues though. That was many updates ago and I simply gave up. They can definitely afford ghosting some users and loosing customers. Best example is IKs' Group Buy promotion, that have just ended. They've sold so many new items. Possibly to plenty of brand new users. Existing problems may start to pile up with no end in sight.
The best and fastest fixes I experienced were from small developers. That's why I often reach for their effects. Perspective of a real and relatively quick fix is much more comforting, rather than using a major software that may not see any changes in the near future.
Having said that, it's not so easy to find replacement for a synthesizer. When I reached for KORG Legacy Collection after a long break, I didn't want to listen to other synths that sounded totally fine not so long ago. The unmistakable character was close to impossible to replace.
