If you don't have Reaktor then you have been missing out on some great synths.... I have a short list of some of the best ensembles that you can find, which are reviewed and detailed in my own words, with links to them here on one page.

I am very tempted by the Reaktor sales price. Don't really have much left in my Black Friday budget but R6 would be pretty high on my list of possible purchases.

honestly, for form and some of the other included synths alone you would be happy.
throw in blocks (even just using the included patches if you don't want to piss about with wires) and full price you'd be happy.
but that's not it!!!!
access to the biggest resource for "massive crazy synths like wot you like" in the user library. synth heaven.
aaaaand of course there's the option to get building!
don't fancy that? cool, but you can still once in a while find a synth, you think "ooh it's nice but id like it to also do this..." you can add it!!!
there's all that!!!
but, just check the "form" demo if you don't know if, right up your street!!!

Ages ago, undaunted by the 30 minute demo limit, I purchased Razor and Prism for Reaktor Player. (Micro-Prism was one of the NI Christmas gift plugins that lured me in ) Later I purchased Polyplex drum synth, and eventually discovered a discount path to Komplete. All the while, the Reaktor User Library had a consistant supply of new, or yet un-studied ensembles. At 50% off, your new creative potentials will 100% ON
The Boscomac effects and instruments are great, whether your budget is, or is not.
Cheers

But Form isn’t included, you would have to pay extra for that. Its included in Komplete. There are a few very good synths based on Reaktor, but still with a price tag… Kontour, Razor, Form etc…
The great thing about that is, that you can modify those high end synths yourself if you open them in Reaktor. Komplete @ BF price is the way to go…

The included blocks are worth it alone , the west coast /monark modules sound gorgeous , the comprehensivve core zdf building kit etc..
Back in the day reaktor sold for 450 euro ,this is a no brainer for anyone who doesn't have it already

i agree, if you have of course the budget, but there are ways to get in to the Komplete ecosystems, via sales, or owning Maschine mk3, for way less. and make a frankenstein (ultimate 11 + komplete 13) ecosystem... an investment, that pays off.. all the Reaktor goodies, of course.Tj Shredder wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 7:15 am But Form isn’t included, you would have to pay extra for that. also upgrades/updates are sometimes dumped here on KVR for komplete, when a new version arrives.
except, if you also use Blocks, some quite interesting third party stuff, that also works in the player, i believe; Toybox Audio (has now a great sale), Euroreakt of course and Everything Turns.
indeed Reaktor is most used, next Absynth, FM8 (still like that thing!), and Massive X (f**king crazy sounds it can produce, when you program it yourself).
well, but only Reator is of course worth it, depends what do you want/need.

you get a lot for the money , there is also many good fxs that would worth more than the price .. so with all the synthesis universe on top .. and stufff to mangle sounds if you are into that.

Form came into being after the release of Reaktor 6. I only got it with a Komplete update and it was and still is sold separately. And its great and totally worth it…
I only use maybe 20% of the Komplete package, though from time to time I stumble over something I didn’t considered interesting. Recently it was Guitar Rig… I don’t see any reason why I should ever upgrade to a bigger version, as that would only be used for 3%…
