Yeah, the Nord 3 filters sound digital (not in a good way). That's the one thing from keeping the Nord Lead 3 from being one of the best synthesizers of all time, period.

It's funny to see the post title, when the NL3 came out it was pretty much hated and panned because it went in a different direction from the original and NL2. In other Nord news, I still kick myself for not buying what I believe was the last NOS Nord Modular G2 about 8 years ago.
