Problems rendering

I have a project I am trying to render, and in every attempt, the resulting .wav sounds very different than the live playing of the project in eXT. The relative track volume levels are quite different, and in some cases, the sound from a particular VST is totally missing.

I am using eXT version 2.7. I have used both the EnergyXT native render, as well as TapeIt (by TobyBear, I believe).

The faulty resulting wave file sounds the same whether I drop it in an audio track in eXT, in Windows Media Player, or in Audacity.

Anyone had this issue before? Any suspected causes?
