Looks like Michael is moving to discord now.

Slack, Discord and all other places like the Audiobus forum and Facebook groups will coexist, it wasn't him I think who created the Discord channel, he just supported it.

Too expensive. If they have a sale for this around $15, i will buy.
Capitalism is a cancer of the human mind, as with all authoritarianisms. It opulently gluttonizes the selfish and carelessly starves the meek. It consumes Mother Earth and Humanity unhealthily, currently.

PSA: license works just like bitwig/waves. Keep that in mind.

Downloaded, purchased but, not interested…
Cubasis is my go to these days…

So how does it compare to Loopy HD? Ive had that on my iPad 3 for most of its life.
my other modular synth is a bugbrand

Loopy Pro is much improved. It can host AUs, interface can be freely designed, it a timeline like a DAW, hardware controller support, etc.

Post

Thanks, this looks promising, gonna have a look at it!

Looks very cool but Koala Sampler for 5 bucks does just about everything I need personally as a lopper sampler...I will definitely keep an eye on this however.
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S49MK2, Studio One, BWS, Live 12. PUSH 3 SA, Osmose, Summit, Pro 3, Prophet8, Syntakt, Digitone, Drumlogue, OP1-F, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Nord Drum3P, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

I think once MIDI implementation and actions is done there will be a run on Loopy Pro. The dev is pretty open-minded and working hard. A standalone and VST for MacOS is planned too, very nice!

Loopy HD is like a fancy multi-track looping pedal, whereas Loopy Pro is more like Ableton Live. It can host virtual instruments and effects plug-ins, it has a mixer, it has a timeline-based sequencer, etc. I heard that the developer plans to include MIDI loops in a future update as well.

In some ways, Loopy Pro might be more appealing than Ableton Live for live performance applications. In particular, the options for interface customization are extensive. You can arrange pads for clip-launching and one-shot samples alongside knobs and faders that are mapped to any control you want.

If you own an iPad that runs iOS 12 or later, it's definitely worth a try for $30.

I’m surprised by the lukewarm reception here.
Although I recognize that the workflow isn’t for everyone.
I finally boxed the time to experiment with Loopy Pro over the past weekend and there’s a lot I like about this app. It’s a software looper that supports AUv3 + external audio.
It’s better than AUM *for looping*, but not better than AUM, as a mixer or AUv3 workspace. It looks great, but it’s not as stable as AUM, when it comes to support for AUv3 apps. I have to reload different apps for no particular reason from time to time. And sometimes effects just don’t open. It looks great, but the UX hasn’t quite clicked for me yet.
All that considered, Loopy pro gives me the workflow I want [some of the time], and I plan to invest more time in it.

IMHO- contrary to previous comments, I don’t see loopy pro and Koala as comparable.
Koala is the the gold standard as far as iOS samplers go, and simply a great sampler in its own right, but it cannot do what Loopy pro does, (at least not today).
I’ve found that they do play well together though. You can open Koala as an instrument in Loopy Pro, (similar to how you can open it in AUM), and record live patterns or sequences as loops into loopy clips.
