I got this deal in my e-mail and it seems really good if they are as good as they seem.
Curious to hear from someone who is using one or both of these plugins.

I just picked up this bundle. I think the bassline generator is super dope, getting very nice results. Algoritm is a nice bonus, very decent synth. But I didn't feel like I needed it.

I really love Bassline Generator. Super fast results. Imagine having such an algorithm in a TB-303 hardware

How is it different from any other sequencer with a randomiser?

Hello! I think the big thing to realize is that it isn’t completely random at all. There a number of preset grooves for both on beat and off beat patterns. The randomize function just mixes and matches those together. The interface makes it pretty easy to make edits. There is a way to also add ‘variation’ to the beginning or end of phrases if needed (both for on and off beat phrases). You can of course roll your own groove from scratch. There are a few more tricks up its sleeve as well…. I like how you can extend or constrain the overall movement of pitch in the patterns as well.
I think the reason it is very usable out of the gate is because it is not completely random. Lots of tweakability and ease of use give it high marks here.

Algoritm has an easy approach to FM synthesis. The GUI is very intuitive. The FX aren’t great in it, but I don’t think that takes much away.
Bassline Generator didn’t do much for me. I found it a bit stiff and noticed I spent more time messing with it than just playing / editing a bass line myself. Just me experience.
I think for the bundle price though it’s not a bad deal. If you are newish to FM, Algoritm is very approachable while also being very powerful. And I could see Bassline Generator being fun for a lot of people.
