This is exactly how I feel, but I think once you get your head around the fact you don't need to actually go in balls deep from the start, you can start to build slowly. THey would get more people using it if they had a quicker way to get stuck in, but they don't seem to care about that. Pushing the subscription method is definitely working against them.zerocrossing wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 4:08 amI’m listening. I feel the exact same way. I absolutely don’t get why anyone would buy Phase Plant. I found nothing exceptional about it and the only way it gets “good” is if you buy the full deal which is ridiculously expensive… and then I’m not sure it’s that good. I watched a ton of demos and tutorials and each time I walked away scratching my head saying, “this emperor is clearly naked.”Introspective wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 11:49 pm…This is absurd. Hard pass….
I expect this falls on deaf ears. It is selling quite well, I hear. Alas. Carry on! Glad to see it's doing well despite the marketing, I guess. I hear it's a great synth? Wish I had the tolerance to find out.
But so far i've spent less than $199 and I have around 12 snap ins (ish, can't remember) and I am eyeing a couple more. It's enough to get really into the synth and that's what I was wanting from the get go. They need to look at the basic starting package again for the price of the synth. (Sales or not, they are sporadic)
Anyway, i'll be spending a little time with it today I kinda know already what I wanna use it for, so lets see how easy it is to get there.
