hey guys i read that Unify can load AU plugins in windows? or is this wrong? thx

AFAIK you can't even install AU plug-ins in Windows, let alone run them

And why would want to do that? Basically everything that exists as AU also exists as VST

thx i must have understand something wrong then, i read or saw something some time ago but i didnt check it correctly

nah im on Windows and would have been surprised if i ould use ALCHEMY 2 on windows hahahaa

ALCHEMY 2 is not an AU instrument. It is built-in (embedded) in Logic Pro, and doesn't work inside any other host, even in macOS.

Maybe you are thinking of the recent blue cat connector thread…. You’d still need a windows box though (or vm maybe)…

you’d need a Mac then, or a Mac vm, going the other way…..

PluginGuru can load AU on windows?
