Theme or concept, that is the question.
A tribute to lost artists?
Out one's comfort zone, maybe an orchestral piece or EDM?
The use of a drone?
A rendition?
Only acoustic instrumentation?
In the style of? (We all have influences)
Vocal to midi to music?

All right, I take
5 notes equals chord X no matter in which order
5 notes equals chord X no matter in which octave
2, 3 and 4 note sub chords of the 5 equals chord X
n notes equals chord X as long as the extra notes are octave doubles of the 5
the distribution of notes on instruments is free
the melody can use whatever notes (or vurt sounds)

Hmmm, reminds me of one I did {mmfty} {mmf} years ago where every chord had an 'E' note in it
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently now an 'elderly' so maybe I forgot!

sorry about that.mountainmaster wrote: ↑Sun Jan 30, 2022 12:32 pmFunny you should mention that. My January submission is in the whole tone scale (and has a 7/8 time signature). You didn't seem to like it though.
