Step by step it's getting closer. No official release date though, M9 will be released on the day it's ready. M9 itself is taking shape. Now also the docs etc must be updated. Working on it.

I would prefer to see all the options instead of having a drop down menu.
The drop down menu workflow of the "what" & "where" doesn't work for me, I prefer to have everything in front of me and choose what to see and in what order as collapsed/open style and have few different favorite spaces.

Do you know you can save the What + Where + Which as a quick preset?
For example you can save What = Samples + Where = C:/MySampleLib/Drums/Snares as "Snare Samples".

cool but how can I save a browser list preset that will include:
VST Synth
VST Effects
MUX Device
MUX Presets
MUX Modules
...

(while keeping the vst categories etc...)

Report: The cursor line needs some improvement, sometimes it jumps to the start of the project upon stopping the playback with a space bar, couldn't figure out what's causing this behaviour, seems rather random.

There are several Project menu changes from M8 to M9. Import Audio and Import / Export Midi moved to the Composer popup menu, but AFAIK the Export Composition / Tracks, Render Parts / Sample, and Event Setup are now only Shortcuts.

MuLab App, spacebar is mapped only to the default play/stop-and-return.
Just tried to replicate it with no luck, I'll drop more info in case I find a pattern.

No, they're not shortcuts only. These functions are in the composer context menu which is accessible via the options button at the right of the composer transport.

Thx for the video. Cantabile is doing something wrong: The Frame Position should not continue running in stop mode. It should always reflect the Music Position. Please email the Cantabile devs that they should have a look at the definition and related notes on VstTimeInfo::samplePos in aeffect.h

MuLab App, spacebar is mapped only to the default play/stop-and-return.

Note that when this function does stop-and-return it returns to the last position you have indicated. So when you set position to 17.1.0 and start playing then do stop-and-return it will return to 17.1.0.

If it should always go back to the position it started from then for me it sometimes malfunctions.

Indeed found a bug in that context: Clicking a time line marker to set position, then play, then stop-and-return didn't return to Loop Start. Will be fixed in the next update. Thanks.
