There is no standard terminology. For many devs, compatible does not mean native, but that it works under Rosetta2.ians wrote: Wed Jun 08, 2022 1:27 pm Not a plugin, but anyone using the M1 version of Focusrite Control. The website states Apple Silicon compatible, but my Mac Studio still says Intel?

Only AU version is native. VST3 is not native and no VST2 version.GNXT wrote: Wed Jun 08, 2022 2:11 pmhttps://support.sonnox.com/support/solu ... patibilityrodllag wrote: Wed Jun 08, 2022 1:46 pm Oxford Sonnox v4.00.0 Limiter, TransMod and Inflator and v2.00.0 VoxDoubler according to a comment on their last IG post, haven’t heard the time to check myself.

Just to let you know we have released an Applie Silicon Native patch update for the Oxford Inflator, which you can download from the link below -
Oxford Inflator v4
We've also released updates for our Limiter, TransMod and VoxDoubler plugins.
Sorry for the long delay in getting these releases out the door, and more updates will follow this in the coming weeks!
Kind Regards,

Just tried the VST3 on my M1 MacBook and it is using over 30 percent CPU (honestly I don't trust the meters too much on an M1) however the AU version is using 1 percent CPU. Something is wrong somewhere...

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this before, but there's a really handy app called PlugInfo (http://www.thinkersnacks.com/as-pluginfo.html) that lets you take a look at all the plug-ins you have on your Apple Silicon computer to see which ones are native or not. Here's an example of what it looks like, and of course like 80-90% of the plug-ins I have that still need to go native are from Native Instruments. Complete B.S.

Can anyone comment on the stability of the Goodhertz m1 beta plugs? I would really like to run them but don't want to mess around if they aren't pretty close to release stability.

So, I have just updated Steinberg Wavelab AS native

All I’m waiting for now is NI and Reasonstudios to finally release their updated AS apps.
At least Reasonstudios have a roadmap of sorts to do it but, NI..?!

Sonnox response:
Thanks for getting in touch with us, and for bringing this to our attention.
We've passed the issue on to our developers this morning as a priority and they are confident they've identified the cause of the problem.
We'll have an updated patch with a fix in place as quickly as possible! Hopefully within the next day, or sooner.
Thanks again.
Kind Regards,
Mikey - Sonnox
