Sounds like the soundtrack of a 70's claymation piece that hasn't been made yet

Interesting development musically...
Did you have parameters in place for pitch range and tonality with this one at certain points in the piece?

unexpected i bet
yeah, i have a uhe cvilization module, quantizes to a given scale, so throw a noise source at the front end, every beat it samples/holds and quantizes and spits out a relevant "note" (cv frequency).Did you have parameters in place for pitch range and tonality with this one at certain points in the piece?
but as that can still jump octaves and stuff, then drop it in to an attenuator, that i can reach!!! and thats about all i tweaked in this live

thanks for listening
that period is for me the more interesting for synths and electronic music in general, where it wasnt so much about emulation of older instruments, but about finding something new within the new technology

Very cool idea that makes interesting patterns. I like the idea of using unusual things to generate music. In my other guise "Expensive Notes" I have used games to generate music via microcontrollers. It's fun how it often turns out different to what you might expect.
