Toybox Tangle Pack Released

For someone new to this whole Reaktor Blocks stuff:

you've got a plethora of modules to choose from, quite literally near to 2000+ or so, so somewhat in the league of what VCV Rack offers. Would you say the Tangle pack is an entry-level to Toybox (aside from what Reaktor comes with) or which one would you folks suggest?

Also: please make more of these larger modules, these small, dark ones are quite hard to distinguish from one another and it's easy to loose oversight in large patches. Especially if not given colourful markers like your NanoPack ones.

I’d say the Tangle Pack is quite brilliant and offers a good blend of exciting Blocks like the Tangle oscillator and more functional stuff like sequencer segments, envelopes and LFOs (and tons of other stuff, including polyphonic Blocks). It’s probably a good entry point, yes.

But don’t discount the smaller Nano Blocks. They seem a bit nondescript at first, and I guess they are. But usually you can modulate every parameter directly (and not just via the usual two modulation slots), and you can fit a lot of them on the screen.

Yeah, I’d second that. There are so many Blocks I’ve hardly used, if at all, because I’m not a modular pro, and the documentation is rather sparse.

Yes, we are working on a couple of soundpacks for the tangle pack with lots of examples of different uses for the blocks etc. Will post here as soon as they are ready

The Modulation Lane is a versatile block which lets you accurately draw in patterns of modulation.

It can be used as a multi-breakpoint envelope, a custom LFO or a DAW-style automation lane for slow passages of modulation. It works at ‘audio-rate’ so you can even use it as a wave-shaper or a complex drawable oscillator.
