It really is very cool. One thing I noticed is it double triggering like a flam the first event when looping around a pattern. Not all the time but at least 50 %. I would also like to customise the icons as suggested earlier. It’s amazing for creating top loop hihat/ percussion patterns.

Hey, great catch! Would you mind checking which version you're on? I just fixed something related to pattern timing in version 1.0.3 which I posted to the website last night.woodsdenis wrote: Mon Sep 05, 2022 4:45 pm It really is very cool. We're discussing options to make it happen in a future (free) update which would hopefully not be too long from now.tatanka wrote: Mon Sep 05, 2022 12:29 pm What I really miss are some randomisation options especially for the sequencer (whole pattern, single lane). I think this is really standard today, especially for something that has so many new ideas.
The challenge with something like that is how to expose the things that are unique to this plugin like strange subdivisions or swing settings, while still keeping a musical structure that doesn't sound too random.
With a traditional step sequencer that only plays 1/16 notes, it's slightly easier to create things that would sound good with a randomizer.
Anyway - challenge accepted, let's see what Or and I can come up with!
Absolutely understand the challenge this is with the subdivisions and agree to keeping up a musical structure. I really mean exactly this, not total randomn (which is more or less useless) but just getting an inside of what this is able to do and then add some slight to harsh variations.
Already curious what you might come up with

Switching to internal sync in a DAW can actually be done quite easily since we already have that feature in the standalone. I might be able to add it in an update this week.D Halgren wrote: Mon Sep 05, 2022 8:04 pm I would love the ability to override the DAW tempo per instance when used in the DAW. That way I can do crazy polyrhythmic stuff with multiple tracks of Beat Scholar.

That actually works now in the standalone. If you type, say, 123.332 or something, it would play it correctly and store it in the preset. We only round the tempo for display. That's also how we're able to sync with the DAW if they send us some fractional number.D Halgren wrote: Mon Sep 05, 2022 8:14 pmThat's greatinnervisions wrote: Mon Sep 05, 2022 8:07 pmSwitching to internal sync in a DAW can actually be done quite easily since we already have that feature in the standalone. We will need to be able to do floating numbers in the tempo slot. I would really appreciate it

Edit: Looks like my brain didn't work and the text box is blocking you from inputting the fractional dot for some reason. I'll fix that ASAP.

Yes, as long as it's the same email you've used for the purchase. (And if it's not, contact our support email)D Halgren wrote: Mon Sep 05, 2022 8:21 pm Awesome! If I set up an account on your website after I already bought will it show my purchase/download if I use the same email?
Downloading the trial version from the products page will also work to grab the latest, as the trial is identical to the paid version and will unlock itself if you already have the license.

At maximum it will take 385 mb - that is if you install all possible plugin verisions (VST, AAX, AU, VST3 and Standalone)
But the installer lets you choose whatever you want
