“Dark Tower” is a bit of a one off, it has strong similarities to the kind of music I was creating back in the 80s, both in the style and in that it is almost exclusively made using my Roland SH2 synthesiser, the only synth I had at the time.

The title “Dark Tower” seemed to fit the mood and is a reference to “Roland to the Dark Tower came” which also references Roland.

Interesting piece, I hear a glimpse of Vangelis feel. This indeed gives me the 80s vibe, thanks for sharing.

Thanks. Paul White noticed the same thing when he reviewed my first release in Electronic Music & Sound maker back in 1984.

That low note. So buttery. Super cinematic. Made me image a gorgeous brunette computer tech in a dark control room astonished the compromised computer addresses her my her real name.

Very cinematic. I really liked the panning, especially in the first few seconds. Really makes you pay attention.

This one has a thick analog sound. Great sound design! It has a very mysterious atmosphere, good for old school sci-fi movie. There is a bit of Vangelis feel, but it's not like Bladerunner. It has a very "open" and epic feel, like visiting another planet. This may fit into David Lynch's Dune I think...

I like the eerieness that hits around 1:40. I love music like this, reminds me of Stranger Things a little.
