I think I worked on this enough for now. Would love some feedback, good or bad. Will go back and fix whatever needs to be fixed.
Thanks!

Funny track with this uh oh sample as the red thread. Could use a bit more lowend to beef it up little.
Hats off to the rest of the mix!

Well you know how I feel about the vocal samples. But in this instance, if you took them away it would remove some of the momentum of the song. I like how it is a fairly sparse arrangement and still sounds full and interesting.

Agreed, very clear mix. The music is uplifting and upbeat. I like the vocal melody but might prefer it interspersed with quicker notes or trills to change the pace a bit.

I noted the comment about adding more low end to beef up the sound and initially thought that might be a good idea, but now I'm not so sure. It might "darken" the overall sound to the point where you lose the upbeat, cheerful nature of the track. Everything else about the mix is fine. Lots of clarity and lightness.

Very good. I also liked the next track, 'Advance'.

"Uh oh!" is already an expressive title that shifts the pendulum strongly
towards emotion. The title itself exudes a happy, cheerful feel to start
the day with. Nice little synth melodies build up. At 1:38 there is even
a small break. After that it goes on as usual ... it flows very nicely.
Personally, I would somehow incorporate a break and create a contrast.
The exuberantly beautiful feeling would suddenly be disturbed. But that's
just a suggestion.
All in all: nice song fragment. But I would still "complete" it.

overall this is good track. on my monitors the uh-oh lead is just slighty too upfront. personally i would have wished that the melodies were a bit more "embedded". unfortunately, I can't tell you how it works technically. (I suspect 1 db less or more on different tracks). but overall a good piece and a solid, good mix.
it is better to have a track with some mistakes than a track without any soul

I agree, when I listen to it I feel like I have some more work to do on it.enroe wrote: ↑Sun Oct 09, 2022 8:43 am "Uh oh!" is already an expressive title that shifts the pendulum strongly
