Bass Station V-Station

Post

Here is a skin for Novation's V-Station plugin in the style of their hardware synths Peak and Summit. This skin is about 40-50% larger than the original:

Thanks to andony for the idea

Edit: In case someone is not aware, V-Station is now free and can be downloaded from Novation's website

I took the plunge and made a Bass Station skin too, also larger than the original:

Thanks to zvenx for the idea

The plugin is also free and can be dowloaded here

If I don't win Novation's 30 Years contest, I'll have yours

First of all thank you Branis that skin looks fantastic.
So I tried to do it on the mac and it works too..
Though I use Cubendo, I know V-station doesn't work unless you have the AU version installed so I figured the Resources folder is in the AU plugin..
It was..
Just right click (make a copy of the plugin of course)...Show Contents and navigate to the Resources folder (the folder has more items than the one from the unzipped file here).. anyway I Trashed the Resource folder in Contents of the AU and replaced it by the Resource folder from here..
and yep.

I was wondering if it would work on a Mac, so that's good to hear! I'll give it a go this evening.

That's great! I'm on Windows so I didn't know how to make it work on Mac, thanks for the info.

The reason why my skin has less files is because I have fewer knob and button types than the original skin. I also removed some unused images, probably leftovers from the previous version related to the registration process.

Post

Ahh yes.. probably from the registration process, though the version on their website (dated 2020) is the one I have and I had bought it many eons ago.

The original on mac and pc had 44 files, yours has 37 but I haven't found any issue.

The one thing I can't remember since it has been eons since I used it, was I thought it had a drop down menu for the presets...this skin I can only navigate the presets with the +/- switches..
Don't remember if that was always the case.

Thanks again.
