Was Cat his real name? Did his parents like Cats or something?

Hi Aloysius,
Do not know a whole lot about the history of his name, but know that he changed his name and religion towards his later years. Hi changed his name to Yusuf islam.
Thank you for your nice response.
You are so appreciated!!!

When I was a boy scout as a kid, a friend's dad would always bring out his guitar at the end of our meetings and this is one of the songs he'd play. Fond memories.
Your performance is great and full of the same kind of positive energy that beamed from my friend's dad.

Happy new year!

Rene,
Thank you for the reviews! Now your video: I like some Cat Stevens songs. Your guitar playing is very good and quite upbeat! And the singing is very nice too. You make it look easy, but I know it's not easy, if that that makes any sense. A very nice combination! :)

HI Aaron,
Your comments are always so loved!!!
Cat Stevens songs are truly classics, and this one is a personal fav.
Definitely, not an easy song to cover, especially with CS as the original.
Thank you, as always, my friend!!!
With love and respect,
Rene
