elxsound wrote: Thu Jan 19, 2023 6:13 am This is lovely and you’re absolutely right, it’s meditative. I didn’t think I liked this style before this Jamuary and I’m learning I probably need more of this.

Vurt is right, it’s absolutely lush. I massacre anything every time I use a pitched reverb for anything other than sound effects, so you have my respect for making it every bit apart of the sound. Again, nicely done.
Thank you elxsound.
I know what you mean, it's not a style I'm into too much but I did enjoy making it. There are some very happy accidents that happened (chord wise).

That’s right it’s a mash up of styles. One more go with these, then I will move on I think.

Don't fall into the Berlin Trap  Is that sampler polyphonic? If so, you could get some LoFi Piano samples and corner the TV ad market.

Good work :)

What if I want to fall into the Berlin trap? :hihi:
Unfortunately it is very limited so the TV ad market is safe for now...
Thanks Tim.

#Jamuary 2023 - Baby8 Sequencer with Atari Punk Console - Stylophone with NTS 1

This is the Rakit Baby8 Sequencer and Atari Punk Console. I put this kit together as soldering practice and to make some noise. It certainly does the later. The close ups show how much I need soldering practice. The stylophone is a good match with it, so long as it has effects! In this case I used the NTS-1 for lots of Reverb and Delay.

Nice changes and I like the end sound. Is that the Atari Punk Console by itself?

Those two guitar riffs have great emotive energy. Nicely put together!

There are only two sound sources, so yes. The Punk makes some very weird and gritty noises.

#Jamuary 2023 - Conways Game Of Life Does Ambient

I used the Teensy Controlled Launchpads to Play Conways Game of Life. The "cells" dictate the notes to be played by the three synths. Yellow Cells are living cells, green are new born and red cells are dead. Each synth is allocated a colour to play in a scale. I added Valhalla Supermassive to each track later…

I really enjoyed this. I thing the reverb was the icing on the cake. Great atmosphere.

Good work :)
