Rare birds came in the nest to sing - welcome!
I listened with some curiosity how everyone managed the drum solos.
EDIT Vote updated to include the late submission from PUR BOEUF

This is probably the most diverse range we've had for a very long time - and also the most difficult to rank

My first time here
I agree that this is a really nice diverse group of tracks and was interesting to hear how the drum track was integrated into the music by each musician!

Now I remember why I prefer the OSC voting system over Music Café. Here I actually have to compare the tracks with eachother instead of just giving 1-5 points to each entry….It was incredibly difficult to vote so please don't take a low score as me thinking the track is bad. (notes for all)
Hellfog 10: Would have loved a ”Yellow Magic Orchestra type of synth solo” in the last part with drums - absolutely LOVE the outro chords - very very nice!
Took that outro part and threw it real quick into PaulXStretch….
https://soundcloud.com/yadrichik-chaya/ ... al_sharing
Silverpants 9 - Cheeky bastards with no concept of a future!……
I kept on switching the 10 points between you and Hellfog…pretty much sums it up!
Beanpole 8 - Sounds professional, like something from the radio! Completely forgot that you were forced to use those very specific midi drums, just like the rest of us, while listening…
Por Bueof 7 Great intro and overall vibe - I just wished there was a more prominent bass in it! It could start of with a fretless type bass sound in the intro sliding its way through here and there and between 1:15-1:47 a very fast paced bassline all over the place together with the guitar!
Harvon 6 Excellent brass arrangement: like entering a small picturesque village filled with windmills - in a fantasy videogame, - (I would have rated it the highest score in a different voting system!)
Doctobob 5 The fact that you, who has such an immense musical diversity in all kinds of genres, chose to only use pre-made loops/samples over the already provided midi drums made me laugh... I actually gave a certain OSCer a low score here in Music Café for only using samples in his entry. After that he consequently started giving me 2s and mostly 1s in OSC…But your usage is a somehow a totally different thing. (….Or is it?!?!)
Farlukar 4 (Background soundtrack for a crime tv-series!)
Laguna Rising 3 ”Mardi Gras drunken style going from bar to bar” it has plenty of charming moments!
Babylon420 2 (Some of the parts in it could easily be used for a math-rock type track with way different drums though* hehe preferrably doing other time signatures! Loop the 0:33-0:39 part and start building something from that! I'd really like that small snippet as an foundation for a whole section in a funky track… When I saw the name of the guitar plugin I realized that a track I really dig uses the exact same Metal GTX: https://soundcloud.com/tancla_lmao/character-select
Violator_Alba 1 Cool track with a very nice outro!
