Isn't that a brilliant idea though. Create a synth then a code that utilizes the users hardware as processing power, even if you devote 1 percent of the cpu usage the synth does, it makes money, The more popular the vsti, the more money made by the user. You could even release free vsti and then just devote part of code to bitcoin mining from user. I wonder if that is what microsoft does, a back door mini bitcoin miner on all our machines that no one notices. It mines bitcoins from users but allocates it to the adminstrator account, who created the hardware/software.

Doubt all you want. this is the name of the game these days.... Implementing blockchains. One day it will all make sense. Imagine, creating a synth for free. No barriers to entry. If its good, lots of people will spend lots of time on it, consuming more cpu/gpu resources, which can equate to mining cryptos.

Yeah, the future is here, kids! Now you can buy lottery tickets for someone else, then pay for them via your utility bill!

(check the date on that OP, chief)

Believe, faith, doubt, experience, knowledge - all different perspectives on reality. The knowledge has the least clashes with it… Get to transform the others into it. You need to let go some illusions though…
But blockchain technologies will help. Its more likely that it will be incorporated into copy protection… If you transfer Ether to your plugin it will sound better…

Meh, all the -cool- kids know we need synths that do NFT via chatGPT, and talk to IoT via 5G , so not interested
Consider this post 'actionable help.'
