Yes, no difference in functionality, but if it is not a full version, one must have certain products registered in NI to be legitimate for crossgrade. It used to be e.g. free Arcane for Kontakt 6. Since Kontakt 7 has already been released, I don't know if it still applies. That's why I'm asking.

So NI were super nice and converted the crossgrade to a full version. So you're covered
