Hi,
what is in your opinion the best sounding drum vst? I´m using NI Studio Drummer and Abbey Road 60´s Drummer (which is the better one out of this two imo and for my style (blues, classic rock etc.).
But I´m searching for alternatives which can outplay the NI stuff in 2023.
Thanks

Everyone will have their own favourites of course. I like AD2. Good recent thread discussing it here, outlining pros and cons etc;

Interesting.
I just went for SD because it may still outshine the latest stuff. I am still learning it but the many channel, mic, randomisation and effect options are quite nifty and can dramatically affect the sounds.

Addictive Drums 2 is really good . I used Toontrack ezdrummer 1 and 2 prior to AD2 ..

Addictive drums 2 and using the individual outs. Despite no real additions or updates.
Still also the smallest sample footprint too. So much more natural sounding than any of the Kontakt drums I've tried.
By the way, I use a Trapkat with sticks for triggering drums.

If you have Kontakt, give the free Redpack Drums RCS Essentials demo a try.
I keep being tempted by BFD when I see it come up for sale, but it seems like a lot of users (specifically Mac) are having nothing but problems these days.
