I read that I can get Kontakt 7 as a crossgrade for $99.50 so
I just may have to finally buy it. :)

But then, I can get Reaktor for that same price...decisions.. decisions

Bought my update from Best Service. I thought a NI voucher and a PA plugin for 29 voucher was included with the standard update? Can anyone confirm this?

I got my PA voucher a day later. It's $20 off on any plugin.

a question: Can you have both versions of Massive? (Massive and Massive X) I bought Massive as a standalone, but I also have Komplete, but not the latest one. Asking because it let me keep Reaktor 5, but I can use Reaktor 6 , but as a player.

Already had 2 crashes with Kontakt 7 today. Kontakt 6 had been solid as a rock for me before this.

Part of the reason I plan to update from K12 Regular to K14 Regular is the new Kontakt 7.
I had crashes with HG Sounds and Kontakt 6 and am hoping that Kontakt 7 will help prevent the crashes.

Really love HG Sounds so let me ask is it likely that Kontakt 7 will fix the crashes?

Got an upgrade to Komplete Select to Standard for £180. I still have 2 unregistered copies of Komplete Select sitting in my account, I think now might be the time for me to sell them while they’re running the sale…

Now that they've finally ported more of their stuff over to Apple Silicon I'm actually more inclined to spend the $99 to upgrade than I've been in years.

I’m up in the air about talking the $100 deal to go from standard to standard and moving to the Ultimate version. Is it worth it?
If you like sample based Kontakt instruments and Machine Packs...tit's a lot of 'stuff' but personally I haven't found much use for it and when I moved to a new computer 6 months ago I didn't even bother instaling 70% of 13U (but I guess I always can if I studently get asked to score a movie!)
I looked into it and it did make sense. I’m scoring a game this year and it will definitely come in handy.

Yes, they are totally different synths. Definitely not really a Massive 2, but something different - more of a very late answer to Serum.

Your products all remain in your account. If you have a qualifying product for a future upgrade in your account you can upgrade . I show Komplete Ultimate 12 CE, Komplete 14 Standard and every incremental upgrade or update I purchased going back to Komplete 5. I have upgraded selectively over the years without any issue. I suppose that NI could change how things work in the future. There would be one hell of a backlash if they did.

mabian wrote: Sat May 27, 2023 11:32 am The new downgrade option is very interesting but I have a question about it: if I get the "downgrade" let's say from Ultimate 13 to Standard 14, will I still be able in the future to upgrade my Ultimate 13 to Ultimate 15 or will I be demoted to Standard grade and be only able to upgrade from Standard 14 to Ultimate 15 in case?

Thanks,
Mario

I've been wondering for the past few years if maybe I have just been automatically dismissing the included content and buying third party libraires and synths when really I might be better off financially if I explored the NI content in a bit more depth. That is my taks for the next few weeks - seeing just how much Komplete gets me without third party similars. I know for instance that I have Falcon libraries that I use where I probably wouldnt use the same level content if it came from NI.
