I just may have to finally buy it.

But then, I can get Reaktor for that same price...decisions.. decisions
I looked into it and it did make sense. I’m scoring a game this year and it will definitely come in handy.SLiC wrote: ↑Sat May 27, 2023 9:46 amIf you like sample based Kontakt instruments and Machine Packs...tit's a lot of 'stuff' but personally I haven't found much use for it and when I moved to a new computer 6 months ago I didn't even bother instaling 70% of 13U (but I guess I always can if I studently get asked to score a movie!)zerocrossing wrote: ↑Sat May 27, 2023 9:40 amI’m up in the air about talking the $100 deal to go from standard to standard and moving to the Ultimate version. Yes, they are totally different synths. Definitely not really a Massive 2, but something different - more of a very late answer to Serum.

Thanks,

That makes a lot of sense, thank you.Scotty wrote: ↑Sat May 27, 2023 10:58 pm Your products all remain in your account. If you have a qualifying product for a future upgrade in your account you can upgrade . I show Komplete Ultimate 12 CE, Komplete 14 Standard and every incremental upgrade or update I purchased going back to Komplete 5. I have upgraded selectively over the years without any issue. I suppose that NI could change how things work in the future. There would be one hell of a backlash if they did.

I've been wondering for the past few years if maybe I have just been automatically dismissing the included content and buying third party libraires and synths when really I might be better off financially if I explored the NI content in a bit more depth. That is my taks for the next few weeks - seeing just how much Komplete gets me without third party similars. I know for instance that I have Falcon libraries that I use where I probably wouldnt use the same level content if it came from NI.SLiC wrote: ↑Sat May 27, 2023 9:46 amIf you like sample based Kontakt instruments and Machine Packs...tit's a lot of 'stuff' but personally I haven't found much use for it and when I moved to a new computer 6 months ago I didn't even bother instaling 70% of 13U (but I guess I always can if I studently get asked to score a movie!)zerocrossing wrote: ↑Sat May 27, 2023 9:40 amI’m up in the air about talking the $100 deal to go from standard to standard and moving to the Ultimate version.
