Cool! It supports Linux!!!🙂
C/R, dongles & other intrusive copy protection equals less-control & more-hassle for consumers. Company gone-can’t authorize. Limit to # of auths. Instability-ie PACE. Forced internet auths. THE HONEST ARE HASSLED, NOT THE PIRATES.

I got this because I'm a sucker for old samplers and it really does deliver.

The Speed factor is where the real magic is in this device.

On the OG SP1200 people used to sample at a higher source speed (e.g. A 33 rpm record at 45 rpm) and use the tuning slider to get it back into pitch. That's what gave it its famous crunchiness and this emulation replicates that behaviour exceptionally well.

The RX950 is also a fantastic effect that emulates the Akai s950 samplers signal processing.

Great job by inphonik.

They put some real great drumsounds in this. Would love to load them into my MPC X :o
Just don´t figured out, how to adjust the filter. Seems to be a fixed value or velocity thing.

Maybe the drum sounds are stored as .wav files for example somewhere on your hard drive.

Filters are fixed.
