Think it's probably more a case of choice overload leading us to be somewhat lethargic and focus directed to technical elements vs ourselves and the music we wish to be making.

I bet there's people who've posted here for years and never made a single album.

honestly the routing, both MIDI and audio, is so flexible, it's like a swiss-army knife for audio and MIDI routing shenanigans if you have little need for piano roll or audio editing, for both of which I use other tools.

I've been involved in about 5 Albums since 1995ish... Locally quite successful actually. Highlight being a song for our soccer team (VFL Wolfsburg) as they managed to rank up to the German "Bundesliga" (and the Bundesliga is a huge deal). They wanted a rap song on the official Fan Album, and since we were the top ranking act at the time (locally), we were asked to contribute a song. Our track was played in stadiums. Fun times
