yes, there is. but you need to ask in the right place, and hoping a thread on any forum both catches the attention of NI and gets them to move forward is just... wishful thinking.zerocrossing wrote: Thu Jul 20, 2023 4:14 am There’s a bit of difference between asking for a better browser and polyphonic aftertouch support on a plugin and “changing the world.”
anyway, like anyone else on this forum, i stand by what i say. and i'd also like to see MX gets the updates and fixes it needs.

Evil Dragon likes to infer he's a Native Instruments insider in every thread about the company. Let him deliver the message.

Existence is a wish. We wish to eat, breathe and fu<k. We take actions to make those things happen. Waves decided to go all subscription, but public outcry here made them decide to go back, with subscription as an option, so it’s not like I’m talking crazy. Here is good because NI can’t decide to kick anyone off for complaining. I’m not super optimistic that this will make a change, but it’s not like it costs me money or much time. I’m not standing outside NI’s offices in a picket line all day. (Though that would be a good idea.fisherKing wrote: Thu Jul 20, 2023 12:47 pmyes, there is. but you need to ask in the right place, and hoping a thread on any forum both catches the attention of NI and gets them to move forward is just... wishful thinking.zerocrossing wrote: Thu Jul 20, 2023 4:14 am There’s a bit of difference between asking for a better browser and polyphonic aftertouch support on a plugin and “changing the world.”

...with NI, Izotope, and BX/PA being one company now and with MassiveX, to put it mildly, being an ambivalent (brilliant, half-assed, neglected) development, Absynth and Iris being discontinued, I wouldn't be surprised, if one or more development teams would be working on the next super synth. My hopes for a significant update of MX are very limited and it should speak volumes, that I rather turn to Massive or Pigments than using MX. Up to now it rather seems to be an expansion vehicle for me. So sad, but good to see, I'm not alone with my disappointment about MX...

>brand of cereal starts to get worse, cereal doesnt taste as good, nutrition is worse.
What should customers of said cereal do?
>talk to each other, vent frustrations, stop buying that brand, find a new brand?
or
>MAKE AN OFFICIAL PETITION using change dot org or Price Waterhouse Cooper AND AND AND contact Oprah and have her validate the petition and then get a notary public to notarize it and hire a celebrity to hand-carry the petition to the cereal brand or... the brand. Will. Ignore. All. Its. Customers.

The intensity of the enshittification of NI and other favorite brands of ours is increasing over time, not decreasing.vurt wrote: Thu Jul 20, 2023 4:34 pm tbf, we already had two threads for venting at ni.

Therefore the frequency and intensity of the complaints will also increase until the day that people just stop talking about that brand, which will be the end. Cereal analogies aside, it's simple math.

see i was looking at it like a relationship between two parties.
when one party stops doing the things the other enjoys, and you grow apart.
you can stick together and rehash the same old argument daily and be miserable, or move on with your life (choose a new brand) or you could stalk and harass them with complaints till the new partner of theirs ends up poking you in the eye or something equally painful.
im no good with analogies though, always veer off at the end.
