And Manuel has said umpteen times he is not in support, email support.
But keep doing this and expect a different result..
Good luck.

Exactly. I had an issue and emailed support. They've been very responsive and worked with me to help try to pin down the bug. We've messaged back and forth a few times and it appears they've gotten the bug squashed for the next release. Pretty amazing support. I was pleasantly surprised.zvenx wrote: Thu Dec 07, 2023 2:35 pm And Manuel has said umpteen times he is not in support, email support.

EDIT: To be clear, the bug I had is not the spikes issue as I'm on Windows.

Exactly. That's the cornerstone of bug hunting and fixing. They need solid data.zvenx wrote: Thu Dec 07, 2023 1:15 pm 2) Your configuration of your computer and DAW may help him figure out the commonality between those that are having the issue.
For example this issue appears to only happen on some Mac systems. So they can save time by not looking into the Windows version.
So if someone really wants to help fix this issue, email support with your system specs. OS, CPU type and model, graphics, DAWs, etc.
That way as zvenx says Rene can find the commonality between those systems and find a solution. As Manuel said if they can't reproduce the issue on their systems then they can't fix the issue.
So instead of complaining here, spend that time working with support.
I spent 7 hours yesterday working with AV2 on Windows 10 22H2 and did not have a single issue. I fully realize that "there is no problem here" does not equal "there is no problem" but "it's not happening here" is still data. However I don't see much point in sending support an email that says "not happening here". That would just unnecessarily clog up the support system.
As I've said many times in the past, not all bugs affect all users. It's just a matter of finding out why some users have an issue and others do not.

So those of you having the spikes issue, keep working with support. It's obvious they are responsive so the more data you provide them the quicker they'll find a fix for you.jsp1979 wrote: Thu Dec 07, 2023 2:45 pm EDIT: To be clear, the bug I had is not the spikes issue as I'm on Windows.

I just wanted to ask if we're allowed to share free presets if some use the factory sample content?
One must own the plugin and the factory content for the presets to work so I'm not seeing any harm in sharing. But then perhaps I'm missing something. Commercial presets I imagine would be a different matter.
I've got about 40 so far that I'd like to share. They're probably not going to win any blue ribbons at the patching contest but I had fun making and playing them.
I think some of them show that Avenger 2 is far from just an "EDM machine".

Can we add an *limit FPS* entry somewhere in the in the config_v2.xml?
(Or add it to the settings?)
> LimitFPS=15
?
Thanks:)
Edit: nevermind, i found it:p thx:)
- didnt have the desired effect of using less gpu and less fans…
(Open gui= 50%gpu… 1gb/2gb in use, fans running - closed gui= gpu silent) - maybe thats a point of optimization sometime in the future;)

That's exactly why I left Windows laptops for mbp. I was having a Razer laptop/helicopter with a big GPU, only useful to generate an intense fan noise after a while.kkvvrr wrote: Fri Dec 08, 2023 12:39 am Can we add an *limit FPS* entry somewhere in the in the config_v2.xml?

Can't you force the use of the integrated GPU?

I simply don't have the time to work with support. The people who have issues is definitely not 4, as people like me are simply too busy with other things.
Rene should know the system by now (I read mainly M1/M2/M3 Max Mac's), so it cannot be hard to miss if Rene just plays with those systems.

Do I get it right, you say you are "too busy" ... you have the time reading and complaining here, but you dont have the same time amount, writing this to support and seeking for real help? I am beyond speechless right now.

I was going to write something similar because to be honest, the post pissed me off.
I just blocked them instead, which I imagine you can't do.
I wish kvr's block worked like vi-control where you don't even see that the person has posted unless someone quotes them.
