Arturia V Collection 10. Predictions.

I already own Acid V. I might buy MiniFreak V some time in the future but honestly, nothing else interests me. I already have Minimoog, Oberheim and Sequential covered by other plugins. I really like Arturia, but I'm not spending money collecting software any more.

That would be a massive update all at once. I don't think they would put that much in a new V Collection.

I certainly would, but if that link is to taken seriously, then any 4 new modern synths would a big update.

Bloat. Destroying conceptually what V Collection was meant to be. Diverting a large chunk of your upgrade cost towards plugins you don’t want and no one asked for.

They instead should be in a separate Augmented Collection. That would be fine. In fact, Arturia should remove them from the V Collection and give it to everyone who purchased the last couple V Collections.

Completely agree. V stands for Vintage not Virtual. And why on earth am I collecting virtual instruments like augmented series? Even the idea of collecting software instruments is a bit silly.

Anyways, from the looks of it, I won’t be purchasing V Collection X.

I have the UADx Minimoog and Pianoteq Studio. I have zero interest in another 303, and I already don’t want the Augmented synths I already have.

I also passed on upgrading my FX Collection 3 because version 4 is equally lame.
