Regarding mini v4. The little I've heard of it sounds really good. Anyone that could compare it to u-he Diva? Closer in sound quality than v3?

26 days ago I had an old version of the SEM and the €39 Labs upgraded.
On offer I got V9, FX Collection and Pigments. Ive been sick and not even opened them yet (I did install). From a value point I got an awful lot for my money so this upgrade makes ZERO sense although I am interested in Microfreak V.
I'll wait until Thanksgiving next year.

They went and did nearly the opposite.lotus2035 wrote: Sun Dec 10, 2023 4:49 pm They need to add a dark mode to the Augmented series. Great plugins but yikes.![]()

In contrast to WUP Arturia actually updates the synths you bought to support new OSes etc. If you update your Mac you most likely have to get a new WUP to use the plugins. But not with Arturia. Unless they do a v3-v4 thingy.VitaminD wrote: Tue Dec 12, 2023 6:45 pmMore like WUP in a way. You can keep using the old versions, but if you want updates you have to spend the money.

As this thread has now reached the end of its life I guess I can risk going OT. I noted that deal on Misha but assumed it was BF, but I see it's still on. How is it working out for you?ghettosynth wrote: Tue Dec 12, 2023 7:33 pmRight? That's my reasoning as well. I ordered a Misha instead of buying more software since they're on discount at the moment. "We know that you have choices."
There was a lot of noise at release but the MW thread is dead now. I'm always interested in generative sequencers though (and have several already, but nothing that does what Misha does).

It's not here yet. But, you're right, there's nothing else that quite does that. I even looked up all of the details on the original patent and thought about doing something in software myself. I have too many projects already though, and it just won't get done. Also, I'm concerned that this is a blowout. It might not have sold well, so I wanted to get one as the discount is steep for Eurorack.lnikj wrote: Wed Dec 13, 2023 10:22 amAs this thread has now reached the end of its life I guess I can risk going OT. I wonder if X in the V Collection gives a signal that (an optional) subscription model is coming in the (near) future.

IMO, V Collection X is probably the least interesting release in the last few V Collection releases.

Demoed it today... It is phat as hell, and the presets are very good. Currently my favourite moog emulation out of all.cyberboycoolen wrote: Tue Dec 12, 2023 8:38 pm Regarding mini v4. I on the other hand think it's an entirely different code.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Wed Dec 13, 2023 2:18 pm I wonder if X in the V Collection gives a signal that (an optional) subscription model is coming in the (near) future.
VCX is roman numerals for 5110. Add those 4 numbers together and it makes 7. 47 in binary is 101111. 10-11-11. In other words - and I can't believe no-one else has pointed this out yet - V Collection 10 will be followed by V Collection 11 - twice. So we can expect DOUBLE the number of instruments in 11.
And then the rapture.

That is some Da Vinci code sh*t, nice work. Looking forward to the double 11's. And the rapture.noiseboyuk wrote: Wed Dec 13, 2023 2:59 pmI on the other hand think it's an entirely different code.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Wed Dec 13, 2023 2:18 pm I wonder if X in the V Collection gives a signal that (an optional) subscription model is coming in the (near) future.
