I assume there will be comprehensive support for multi-channel output?

This can be used as a workaround for sending a couple of channels to other instruments: assign a sidestick sample and route to an audio->MIDI trigger like REAPER's stock gate plugin. Could be handy for incorporating e.g. a TRK-01 kick

Yes, you can easily put Triaz in Multi Out mode and then head to the mappings page to map both the MIDI input Note and Audio Out channel for each drum to whatever you like:

Count me in as someone who's excited to see this (and a Triaz owner already). Also, would love MIDI out, so adding my voice to the chorus.

Yes, there will be a 14-day fully functioning trial with no annoying noise bursts or anything like that. The only caveat is that the demo doesn't include all of the samples / presets. It includes 4000+ samples and 200 selected presets, whilst the full version includes 15,000 samples and 715 presets.

The only reason for this is that we don't want to force people to download a 4GB file to demo this, and we wanted to keep the demo around 1Gb in size :tu:
Unfortunately, the question about the introductory or crossgrade offer was not addressed. Could you please provide information on the cost?
Thanks a bunch for answering all the questions! Everyone here is incredibly excited about Triaz!

We've not yet 100% settled on the pricing, but it will be either £79 or £89 introductory price, and around the £129 mark thereafter.

There will be no other cross-grade offerings for this product, other than that we'll be giving this to all existing Triaz Kontakt version owners free of charge. I hope this helps and seems reasonable for what is on offer here :tu:

Here's a little taster of the brand new Drum / Kit Randomizer in Triaz, which is my new favorite feature:

Dear Wave Alchemy, just upload the installer to our (TRIAZ owners) accounts already. We won't tell anybody.

Fannon wrote: Fri Feb 09, 2024 6:31 am Have you tried it with Kontakt 7 Player? There you can set the zoom level.
But to be clear: All it does is ugly upscaling. And Kontakt 7 loads even slower than Kontakt 6. So I'm really very very happy that Triaz will now be "liberated" from Kontakt.
I haven't recently. I'll need to check just to cut my teeth while I wait for this to come out. I gave up after having a sore neck from leaning in to see what I was working on. I have an eye condition which is exacerbated by large monitors and poor resolution so I'm stuck with what I'm using for that reason. I just had so many moments with the sizing being an issue in KONTAKT 6 that I gave up on it as a whole. I'll hit Guitar Rig for synth effects but despite being bought into that ecosystem it's been years since I've used regularly. I'll have to check out that zoom feature since I have KONTAKT 7 installed

Nice try :D

I think we'll likely be giving this out to Triaz owners on the day before it is released, and that is not long at all to wait now :tu:

We were faced with many limitations in the Kontakt version, including no scalable UI option at the time. The new version of Triaz's UI is all high res vector and of course resizable - so you won't have this issue in the native version :tu:

@wave alchemy: Will the 'Beat Lab' sample pack be included (at release or in the future) as a native Triaz expansion for those who own it?

Post

I see there is now a bundle of instruments available on the website? Is there a discount for completing the bundle for those who have some of the instruments already? Triaz is very tempting now its released from Kontakt

Dan, as you are developing your own plugins now, is there a chance DRUMVOLUTION might get a native version? I understand it wouldn't be as feature-rich as Triaz, but I love DRUMVOLUTION and haven't touched it since moving away from Kontakt-based instruments. Using it within Kontakt feels clunky and limits its potential in terms of workflow and performance. And it has the best GUI a drum machine device can have
