^ This is why it is really not smart to not offer a demo. I think it's pretty illogical to not release a demo becausen it isn't representative without all the samples. Anyone can go and listen to all the patches on YouTube. Getting an idea of the sound is easy. The point of the demo is to check that it works well on your system and to get used to the workflow a bit and see if it clicks. You don't need a thousand sample patches for that.

I'd like to check that it works alright on my surface pro and the screen is big enough etc. But without a demo, and as far as I can tell no money back guarantee either (which is what most developers do if they don't offer a demo) it's a bit of a risk.

Has anyone using a Mac M1 gotten it to perform well? I have tried everything but it keeps overloading the CPU whenever I use more than a couple of instances. The spectral oscillator is also useless because of CPU demand. One note maxes out the asio meter.

I used the v1 with a m1 with 8gb without issues. And the v2 is more efficient than the v1 since the v2.0.5, I am surprised.
Are you using very complex patches? Some sequences are actually full songs running with all effects and all so I would expect them to be quite demanding.

No complex patches, I realize the sequences are heavy but I rarely use them. Just a pad, a bass and a lead will always lead to asio spikes. No other vst cause issues for me, only Avenger. Pigments, Serum, Kontakt flows like a breeze.

When you use the mouse wheel on "transpose" it will move in octaves.

Sorry for the strange question, but in Tone2 Icarus thread there are some "rumours" about you, Manuel.
How likely is it that Avenger will still exist in 5 years? 5 years would be ok for me, but less would not make me happy.
When was the last time you were at the doctor?
And why didn't I ever had issues with the 90 days re-authorization? I never re-authorizised, did I? It's seems to be an issue for some users.

because Avenger normaly refreshes the license on his own if the license is expired after 90 days.
Some may got issues because some weird windows/ mac security settings.

For window for example in most cases it will be the Windows UAC (User Account Control) which block the write permissions for Avenger if the DAW is not started with Administration rights.

I googled for this Icarus thread and there just one person questions himself, what would happen with your license if a dev dies. Well apart from, that you can say that for every product, In my case, Rene will continue it when I die, and I will continue it, when Rene dies. If we both will sit in the same crashed plane, well then, the heirs/beneficiaries will have to decide what to do. This is really the strangest place on earth.
