Amazing 'screaming' sounds in the distance.
Thanks. I like the last scream. I'll come back to this and mix it better, make it less muddy. Maybe redesign the "harp".

But my wife actually complimented the new project I'm working on! So no hurry to improve this one.

I wrote this thing which is very unlikely to be my submission but I do like it. It could be improved I guess. I have another project I'll probably submit.

A first simple test for the Challange. I'm not sure, in what direction I will go this month :(

Here's another that may not be my submission: https://soundcloud.com/anotherjaysherma ... al_sharing
I'll give it one more try. I definitely like turning off the oscillators and using the echo effect to make a guitar. Was thinking of John Carpenter movies. Maybe the Vampire one with James Woods or Kurt Russell Escape from New York. I will try to watch a John Carpenter movie this weekend and see if I totally made up any similarity. (Not The Thing).

John Carpenter is one of my favorite composers :)
At the beginning it sounds a bit like Carpenter, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing as long as you don't make a 100% copy of a Carpenter song.
I'm looking forward to your entry :)

I hear some very interesting medieval vibes here. I hope that was intentional. I really like the approach. I also really like the off-key tones. Very interesting!

My entry: "Jazz Rogue".

https://soundcloud.com/slugnest/jazz-ro ... al_sharing

Ah, “Jazz Rogue”! The name alone conjures up smoky alleys, neon-lit streets, and the kind of rain that doesn’t just fall—it slithers down your collar like a guilty secret. In this dystopian near future, where chrome and circuitry blend seamlessly with decay, Jazz Rogue prowls the cityscape like a shadow with a nicotine habit.

And so, Jazz Rogue dives headfirst into the neon abyss. He’ll navigate the underbelly of Neo-Seattle, dodging cyboid hitmen, double-crossing fixers, and maybe even a sentient vending machine with a grudge. Because in this world, where wires tangle with veins and the rain never stops, Jazz knows one thing: The truth is buried deep, and it’s got more layers than an onion in a cryogenic freezer.

Hey all, here is my track. I was going for an adventure and discovery vibe with this track. Wanted to try pairing a atmospheric hip hop type beat and experiment with the sounds of the Cherry SEM. I also wanted see if I could create robot vocal type lead.
