Manuel, is there a possibility to include a multisample in a preset will there be in the future, the possibility to include in the preset file also inside the multisample?
I made a preset sampling a hardware synth and in addition to the preset name "Bass1Avenger Multi.avgr" it created 2 files "BASS1.avms" and "BASS1.avms.tune" but if I wanted to share it it would be impossible, because I would have to make an "expansion folder" and it would not make sense to send for a couple of presets, an expansion file.
Is there a remedy? Or does this thing only work if I use the multisamples, wavetable factory of the avenger?
let me know thanks

you can just send your custom expansion pack as 1 file... the person you want to send it to just has to drag and drop this file into his Avenger GUI... thats much easier as sharing single files and copy them to the correct file structure

Hi Manuel, first of all thank you very much for your reply, sorry for my English maybe I explained myself badly, I meant that if I have to send 1-10 sounds to a friend of mine, I hate doing an expansion, because everything would be empty except those 10 sounds. Will there be the possibility in the future to also send single sounds that automatically include the wavetable or multisample used for that preset?msvs wrote: Sat Jul 20, 2024 3:18 pm you can just send your custom expansion pack as 1 file... the person you want to send it to just has to drag and drop this file into his Avenger GUI... thats much easier as sharing single files and copy them to the correct file structure
PS: One thing I have never read anywhere, how do you create a multisample when you sample a synth? Do you do C D E F G A B? as notes I had read somewhere that there are those who do A F# D# C like if it is a bass they do 4 octaves of sampling if it were something else they even reach 6.
when you have to sample and make a multisample of a synth, or a bass how many octaves samples and how many notes?
let me know
Thanks again for the answers.

Yes, I understood what you meant
Currently that is only possible with oneshot samples, because of the size a preset would have with complex layers of multisamples. Maybe we will check if that is possible.
The multisample steps depend on the sample. While a Piano need each key sampled, a synth lead may work with C E G# per octave. Usually we do C D# F# A

Hi Manuel, if you and Renè could make a preset that keeps the multisample it would be amazing, and also when there will be the midi import in the arpeggiator/sequencer it would be amazing. Thank you very much for all the work that is behind avenger, people do not realize how many functions and possibilities avenger has compared to other more limited ones.msvs wrote: Sun Jul 21, 2024 3:22 pm Yes, I understood what you meantCurrently that is only possible with oneshot samples, because of the size a preset would have with complex layers of multisamples. do you usually do (excluding I imagine string pianos or real instruments) CD# F# A? good so I will try too.
thanks in the meantime for everything.

midi import will come with the new piano roll module. It doenst work for arps very well because of the limitations an arp has (monophonic, oct ranges etc)

Thanks Manuel, I know and I imagine that you obviously can't tell me when this upgrade will happen, but I ask you if possible, since I remember that July 19th was the KEILWERTH-AUDIO 15TH ANNIVERSARYmsvs wrote: Mon Jul 22, 2024 10:06 am midi import will come with the new piano roll module. Obviously I can imagine that the piano roll module then doesn't work very well with the arp (rightly being monophonic and for the octave intervals issue). Obviously I imagine that they will be 2 totally distinct sections ARP with its functions etc and the "Piano Roll Module" with its midi import and the various functions.
Avenger 2 is becoming more and more my favorite vsti, I would really like to understand how to import and create the wavetables well because I see that they don't come out well and I'm definitely doing something wrong.
Because I have various very interesting wavetables but when I import them into avenger (I'm definitely doing something wrong) but they don't sound good and they are not as if I import them into serum, without touching any parameter filter mod etc.
PS: Later in the future there will be an implementation of another Know in the Single loop module, as in the photo that you can assign one of these extraordinary wonderful functions: Crazy, add octave, sub octave, detune flanging, detune wide, mono tu stereo, double tempo and half tempo, will there be a possibility of having another knob next to be able to assign 2 options with 2 different knobs, so as to be able to control like Crazy and ad octave? or Crazy and half tempo?

Thanks a lot for all the answers as always

I see there is a discount again. I have 16" M1 Max MacBook Pro. Is the CPU spike issue fixed finally? Avenger 1 never worked on my 16" M1 Max MacBook for this reason, so I was wondering if it makes sense to upgrade to Avenger 2 now in 2024 or still stay away from it?

Your kidding is it ?Bla28 wrote: Tue Jul 23, 2024 12:53 pm I see there is a discount again. I have 16" M1 Max MacBook Pro. Is the CPU spike issue fixed finally? Avenger 1 never worked on my 16" M1 Max MacBook for this reason, so I was wondering if it makes sense to upgrade to Avenger 2 now in 2024?
I don't know any synth as good as Avenger 2. It is a huge upgrade. The improvements in the UI make it a much easier synth to work with to a point that it is now my go to over Twin 3 and Phase Plant 2 (even if I still love these 2 synths). The fact that you have easily, at hand, in one panel, all this synthesis power is crazy. Avenger 1 was in my top 10, not in my top 5, Avenger 2 is my clear best VST.
From a CPU standpoint. The spike issues weren't fixed by v2 but v2.0.5 did correct everything. To be noted that the v2.2 is bringing back some minor spikes that have been reported and I guess will soon be fixed.
I have a M2 pro and no issue at all.

No, it's not fixed. It might be all good for the guy above but no, it's worse than ever on my system. They're certainly not minor spikes, they're 100% crash your mac spikes.Bla28 wrote: Tue Jul 23, 2024 12:53 pm I see there is a discount again. I have 16" M1 Max MacBook Pro. good good I'm happy!

obviously i read the manual, but surely i'm doing something wrong. Because let's say i have a moog subsequent 25 how do i get the wavetables of the moog? or of any synth? do i have to make a C note of a sound that i created there in the hardware synth and then open avenger 2 and convert it to a wavetable? because i would like to have wavetables of various hardware synths not multisamples of sounds that then you can't do much with.
