No plans at the moment, but there have been a few requests, so I’ll certainly consider it.

This is nice thank you. A CLAP version would be great but I understand if it’s not possible

I use Bitwig mostly these days and in the case you’re synth I could use it in Bitwig since Bitwig doesn’t support AuV2. Mostly though voice stacking and per voice modulation in Bitwig is very cool, though not all clap instruments support voice stacking or hosts,as Fl Studio now supports CLAP but doesn’t make real use of it.Check out the Nakst synths in Bitwig if you can to get an idea of what I mean. There are other benefits of CLAP for both user and developers I think, there’s a thread about it in the U-he sub forum.DiscreteLabs wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2024 1:39 amWhile we're talking about it, what is your (and other users) motivation for a CLAP version?
Cheers,
Dave

CLAP is an open source, extensible plugin format not under control of a commercial entity. It is flexible and easy to use for developers and allows plugins to be created with powerful voice stacking and modulation features beyond existing plugin formats as pointed out by others while supporting industry standards such as MIDI 2.0. Its threading support offers the ability to write more performant plugins that allow for more instances to be used on the same hardware.
Thanks for considering it.

I assume in your response you mean you 'can't' use ATLAS, because, you use Bitwig?ChanceB wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2024 5:57 amI use Bitwig mostly these days and in the case you’re synth I could use it in Bitwig since Bitwig doesn’t support AuV2. Yes, ATLAS, is an AUv2 Audio Unit Plugin. AUv2 is certainly not outdated, even by the internal Apple Core Audio team.

When a majority of the major plugin developers move over to CLAP format plugins, I'll consider it.josb wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2024 6:31 am CLAP is an open source, extensible plugin format not under control of a commercial entity. The points about what CLAP provides, the real developers already know about, and put into their products.

Yes because I use Bitwig primarily although I also use Logic and Fl Studio and Ableton sometimes so AuV2 are useful in those hosts. ClAP is really only useful for Bitwig I supposeDiscreteLabs wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2024 6:57 amI assume in your response you mean you 'can't' use ATLAS, because, you use Bitwig?ChanceB wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2024 5:57 amI use Bitwig mostly these days and in the case you’re synth I could use it in Bitwig since Bitwig doesn’t support AuV2. I had planned a few updates to ATLAS, if the community wants it?
Ideas include:
- OSC Sync.
- Pulse Width Mod. on all OSC's.
- OSC Analog mode (subtle warble)
- LFO MIDI Sync
- Detach LFO reset from 'Note On'
- Your idea.....

Love you're excited, but I'll need a few more before I commit to the initial list.surreal wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2024 10:32 amyes please on all of the above!!DiscreteLabs wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2024 1:14 am I had planned a few updates to ATLAS, if the community wants it?

This is to me the absolute list of must haves in any poly synth!DiscreteLabs wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2024 4:15 amLove you're excited, but I'll need a few more before I commit to the initial list.surreal wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2024 10:32 amyes please on all of the above!!DiscreteLabs wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2024 1:14 am I had planned a few updates to ATLAS, if the community wants it?

Most of it, the maths is already done. And exists in the codebase, internally. I'll do updates to Atlas, as long as the community wants it.surreal wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2024 5:05 amThis is to me the absolute list of must haves in any poly synth!DiscreteLabs wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2024 4:15 amLove you're excited, but I'll need a few more before I commit to the initial list.surreal wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2024 10:32 amyes please on all of the above!!DiscreteLabs wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2024 1:14 am I had planned a few updates to ATLAS, if the community wants it?
