Hi:
Has anyone on the forum used Kuassa products?
How would you rate these products compared to Line 6, Positive Grid, Overloud?

I like their Effecktor series stompboxes. Their amps are just ok, the Matchlock is probably the best of the bunch. Overall Line 6 Helix and Overloud TH-U have better amps IMHO. But none of these stands up to IK Multimedia Tonex & Amplitube. But that's just me....YMMV.

I like and use their effects pedals quite a bit. Their amps are ok, neither better nor worse than most other developers (I find myself using the rig player in Overloud TH-U all the time, regardless of all the way more expensive amp sims I own). I still think Kuassa's bass amp (Cerberus) is a great sounding one even though it's a pretty old one, I still use it sometimes. When sales are in, I always scoop out a new effect.

Do you use the Kuassa effects with other software such as the TH-U? Bluecat Audio? Other?

They are, by far, my favorite amp sims. I have Amplitube 5 Max too, but never use it - I prefer Kuassa. Cerberus in particular is an outstanding bass amp sim, despite its age.
For guitar, I really like Amplifikation Clarent (Orange) and Amplifikation Caliburn (Marshall). My bandmate (our actual guitarist) likes Amplifikation Lancaster (Vox AC20).
I wish Kuassa would do a Soldano and a 5150, the last two I need Amplitube for. I currently have Amplitube 5 max up for sale.
edit: SWEET, they just did a 5150. Now I just need a SLO from them.

I have all the amps I need, but thinking of getting some pedal plugins from Kuassa.
I could use some bass fx so will probably get the Driver distortion and the modulation bundle.

I'm not a good point of reference when it comes to comparing ampsims with regards to how good they replicate real amps, but I can say that Kuassa is by far my favorite developer. I don't jive with some amps or some stomps, but overall I feel like there's something for everyone in there. I rate them very highly and own all of their plugins.MidiToGuitar wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2024 3:04 pm Hi:

I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

Anyone on Windows with a 4k display, are the Kuassa plugins resizable? I don't want to end up with GUI's for ants.
Edit - bought the Mod Two and Bass Distortion bundles, the GUIs are resizable and beautiful!
