This is a cheeky entry into a little 4 track challenge. Essentially written and pulled together in a day, and mainly used as a vehicle to learn Drambo on ios.

I was googling Drambo thinking this was going to just be a sequencer instrumental. Then the vocals came in and surprised me. They sound great!
This is really good for a day's work. I would like to hear more tracks like this that are more fully developed -- a more varied backing track and more thoughtful lyrics.

Thanks Frantz. Drambo has a couple of nice samplers which allows you to bring audio in.

Lovely delicate beginning - loads of space in the mix.
Change works well at 20 secs or so.
Yep, I wasn't expecting vocals either! They work, especially pushed forward in the mix and quite dry like that - gives them an intimate edge.
Enjoyed the listen - very interesting track that worked well for me.
Mix-wise...I did wonder whether some elements could've been pushed back in the mix a little bit via a little touch of reverb, but it definitely works as it is.

I thought the lyrics were quite appropriate, and certainly remained true to the spirit of the competition
Good composition, good mix (I thought the dry-ish sound worked well here), and the vocals integrated well with the instrumentation. The arrangement was well done, with nice variations between the intro/verses/chorus. I enjoyed it.

A very nice minimalist start that then develops into something very exciting.
The vocals are robotic and take some getting used to - but they fit quite well.

ecamburn,
Sorry for the late reply; somehow I missed your earlier review. Now listening to your song. At first I thought it was going to be an instrumental; I was wrong. The vocals made it more interesting for sure. Reminds me a little bit of Depeche Mode (a compliment). I think it sounds rather good!
