And yet, the first four were in Humble Bundle deals or free with a magazine purchase. If you want your finances to get the most, I would still suggest the highest MSRP priced that have yet to see this kind of discount. GX-80 for sure, and Chroma since it comes out even cheaper than the current online sales. I chose Blue 3 as my third because it's hasn't really received the standard CA dealer discount and also because is not included (yet) in their bundle. Don't think Atomnka and Wurly is either though. But those not being a "collaborative" plugin suggests they will be in the next offering.

That was my thought as well but I demoed GX-80 and while it sounded good it just wasn't my bag...so I got Chroma, Pro-Soloist, and Atomika. Chroma is probably my least favorite of the three right now, but only because I am still figuring out how to put patches together, I like the sound.

I went GX-80, CR-78, Chroma.
I already had Atomika (bwaha!)

I keep a partial watch list on a few of these and what the lowest price I've seen on them. Some of the low prices are actually consistent that you can pick up just about any time. Okay, being that many are below the cost average of $33. - it seems a waste of buying them in this deal.
Here's the list (products I own or not as interested in are absent).
Prosoloist 41.16/32.76
Sines 32.67
Harmonia 41.16/32.76
Mercury-6 41.16 / 32.76
PS-3300- 41.16
Miniverse 32.67
Elka-X 32.67/24.36
Octave Cat 41.16
Lowdown 21.00/15.96
Just saying it's in your best interest to research pricing before deciding.

For me:
Mercury-4
Mercury-6
Atomika
I wouldn't buy anything from them that overlaps with something I already own from Arturia, Korg, Xils, GForce etc.

I just picked up:
Dreamsynth
Chroma
Blue
Did I need any more synths? Of course not.

Out of the three that I got, I'd say Dreamsynth is the best. I'm a bit disappointed in Blue. The leslie isn't very good. I think VB3 and the IK B3 are quite a bit better.

Didn't think there would be so many replies so that's nice to see. I don't think anyone picked eight voice, the Gforce one OB-E seems to be a little better from the presets. But I really like the sound of this synth. I do like how Gforce bundles the EZ v. in there too with a decent price. Not sure...

I took two bites of the cherry.
Dreamsynth
GX80
Sines
Atomika
Chroma
ElkaX
I already had PS-3300
Haven't had much chance to play with most of them yet.
It may have to wait until my brain grows up a bit. It's been stuck in fourteen year old mode for quite some time.

By any chance did you check your all in bundle before buying the second one?
I considered buying into the deal a second time too, but knowing that the bundle gets cheaper with more registered products, I decided to check that first. Granted, it didn't go down as much as it did after the two Humble Bundle deals, but it did go down and to get the rest of their offerings would cost average them to about $22 each. I decided I can wait.

I'm happy with what I did BBFG. I'm fairly certain I won't get on with all I just bought and I seem to have a problem with Roland and the way they refuse to consider aftertouch as a thing. I also don't like the Roland idea of simply re-packaging the same old stuff and re-releasing it again..I do of course realize that none of this stuff was written by Roland..but it still grates...BBFG# wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2024 7:56 pmBy any chance did you check your all in bundle before buying the second one?

I did buy what appears to be (for me at any rate) an impenetrable Jupiter XM...
I can't bring myself to sell it to an unsuspecting vict..purchaser.
More on point, I'm aware that the cherry instruments do go on sale at fairly ridiculous prices from time to time...I'm just not about to lose any sleep over the amounts of money saved....
Merry christmas to you and all those you care about!
