For my needs they sound great... I just have two wishes for now.
1. I would love a wah wah in it,
and more than one modulation slot.. so I can say use a chorus AND a flanger.

Yes, both would be awesome. Add the wah to the modulation block so it could also be set up as an envelope follower, plus an expression pedal set up to control that block could vary between wah and modulation rates. Then add a Uni-Vibe.

I requested for the reverb to have the same Pre/Post switch as all other effects (or better yet, a 3-way switch between Pre/Post/Last). That's crucial for any surfy outboard reverb sounds. Plus doing that will smooth out Spring 4, which is currently a bit too sproingy unless you turn the Color down.

From the release notes:
Revamped Noise Gate: now it allows for a faster release and more flexibility. Its action can be moved post-amp.

The following product has been released on the IK Product Manager:

TONEX v1.8.1 (for Mac/PC)

This is a technical update, here is what’s new in version 1.8.1:
  • TONEX Pedal firmware 1.5.13 (updated TONEX software, and then you can update your TONEX Pedal firmware from there)
  • Fixed an issue that could cause the Global BPM to change while switching presets.
  • Tone Model Advanced Search feature now available on ToneNET .
  • Fixed an issue with Windows installer .
  • General reliability improvements.
