I own ray blaster 2 but the tone 2 website appears to only have demos and downloads for later releases (ray blaster 3 in this case). I have the installer and key at my studio but I won't be there for a few days. Am I missing something? The links I received when I purchased are dead. I also can't find any useful info on what I would get if I choose to upgrade to V3.

Any help appreciated,
JJ

The "old version" button seems to lead nowhere indeed.

You should simply ask Tone2 for the older installer imho. They’re cool guys as long as you keep it plain and simple and don’t play the scandal b¡tc#. They always seem to be afraid of a s#itstorm regarding what happened to them before (not here to say who’s wrong or right, but I never had any problem with their software), so simply say what you need to say and all should be fine.

Indeed , since the latest upgrades are payware, there should be a button to get the versions you paid for. They may realize quickly.
And you’re still reading?!...

I was able to find the page directly via Google. Hopefully the links there work. Downloading to my phone doesn't help.

There's a trial version for RB3 in the Downloads section.

RB2 is on this page:

There's no link for Rayblaster on that page. Don't know why. Maybe it's a mobile issue.

Download links are not shown if you do not use a PC or Mac. The products do not work on mobile phones.

You can contact Tone 2 and get the older version. I had similar problems with Electra. They were helpful and provided a link.

Awesome!! I'll do that. I can usually download files on my phone and then transfer them to my computer. So it was odd that there were no working links on the "old downloads" page.

They sent me my keyfile via email and the download links work in my laptop but not on my phone. So I'm all set. I always forget which companies have "user areas" for downloads or how folks do it.

Oddly enough the web and downloading DO work on mobile phones...

They are hidden if you are using a screen resolution that is common for mobile phones.
It is a feature of the responsive website and not a bug. This may not work if you are using certain mobile devices with very high resolutions.
I do not get the point why someone should download PC and Mac software to a cell-phone as the system requirements are clearly written on the website.

Big drama on kvr...

There is no drama. Pointing out that many people *gasp* do things differently than you do. I am often away from my home, and my computer, and I might want to download something to my iPad or iPhone so that I don't forget. Has absolutely nothing to do with the system requirements of the software or wanting to run the software on one of my mobile devices. I might even be crazy enough to want to download the Mac version from a Windows box or the Windows version from a Mac. Are you blocking that too as the Mac version system requirements aren't met from the Windows box and vice versa? :hihi:

It's all good. Tone 2 sorted it out and sent me a new keyfile link. I've never had a file download link not work on my android phone, but that's fine too. I very often grab files while I'm not at home so I don't forget to do it later. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something obvious on the site.

Having a grand time with Rayblaster again. It's a great synth and one of very few synths that can do what it does. It's also basically using 0 CPU on my newer systems.
