Huh. Seems to be saying that they could have released it already, but want to keep refining it, so release is not "imminent" (not clear exactly what time frame he means by that---does it rule out January?).

He probably meant that Serum 2 is already in a good state for release, he then can add/tweak more stuff in future updates but he doesn't want to release it during the holidays so there's a window for extra development. My educated guess is that it will be released around NAMM 2025 when they showcase Zebra 3.

Yes. But it's the first official confirmation that he's working on it and it's actually somewhat close to release. Or has that been stated previously so clearly?
