sounds alien to me. The moment at around 4:50, and 5:00 in particular, onwards sounds pretty cool with that perc-synth combo. Was there any modular (hard or soft) used for this?

With all this drone stuff happening, it just seemed appropriate. They are not aliens. They were here long before we showed up. I only use an iPad, some decent headphones, and an Apple Pencil. No external keyboards, guitars, or MIDI controllers. Just me in my comfy chair, with a cool, refreshing adult beverage. Happy New New Year!

Here I am curious about your minimal set with which you arranged this track :o :

And yes, you've put together a nice track here, mostly with pads, but also with
rhythmic elements and sounds. I really get the feeling of wandering through a
world full of aliens and encountering strange characters (but that's also sometimes
the case in a big city without any music!).

I like your track - it really is like a fantastic journey! :tu:

Thank you very much for listening and commenting!
I use a DAW called Cubasis. I think it’s almost the equivalent of Cubase for iOS. Since I don’t use any external keyboards, I often use MIDI generator apps. If those don’t give me what I’m looking for, there is always the piano roll editor. I often use that to make edits to generated sequences. I place these MIDI patterns into multiples tracks in Cubasis, then I connect them to various synth apps. There are probably thousands of synth apps, of which I own at least a hundred! I stopped buying them about a year ago when I realized they were all pretty much the same. My wife appreciates that! I can get any sound I want from my current collection. For the little voice bits I had a friend use an AI app to generate them. His handle is “MadeOfWax”. He is quite literally a genius at creating AI videos. We collaborated on several. We are especially pleased with Space Team Omega. It’s gotten over 20K plays to date! I hope you can give it a view. I think you will be amused. If you get a few minutes, I would love to hear your thoughts on any of my other tracks. I am on SoundCloud as Paulieworld.

Have a great day, and Happy New Year!

Thanks, buddy. Please see my other response, and consider joining Loopy Pro Forum. We can discuss “stuff” there.
