Poll participaton request: What Operating Systems do you use (or are considering using) for music production?

Hello everyone!

As we approach the end of another year, I am again seeking your input to unscientifically determine operating system platform popularity. I've been doing this once yearly for several years now, and it has been interesting to see the changes in popularity of the various operating systems on which music is produced. Also, this helps developers to determine where to focus development time for their plugin instruments and effects. This Poll is currently running here:

Windows 10 because PCs are better than MACs.

In all.seriousness, I've used Macs and PCs and it'll take hell to freeze over to ever go back to Mac. Voted Windows and open to using a self contained unit IE an MPC (had the 2000XL fully loaded and loved it) to f**k with electronica based music.

~ Even though the poll is already closed ~ Windows 11 ( because when I hit the 'Upgrade from Windows 10' button, my brain was still in 'buffering' mode...). But, I gotta go with your first statement - I just didn't want to get into Apple's closed ecosystem...! I got one of the highest spec'd 17" laptops that I could get, and haven't looked back since...(knock on my wooden head!).

i just use microsoft windows

most refurbished computers comes with windows
refurbished computers can be had for 200 dollars or even less
so, it`s like windows is free
i mean by itself, windows cost over 200 dollars already?
