If you purchased Zebra2 and The Dark Zebra before it turned into Zebra Legacy, then yes, it'll be a free upgrade.

For people who purchased Zebra Legacy we're discussing a limited time voucher style option, but given the bargain that Zebra Legacy is, one should not expect a huge discount, maybe something like 20%. In any case, if you have Zebra Legacy, I'd recommend to subscribe to our newsletter (it's non-spammy!) such that any such time limited opportunity isn't missed out on, should we be able to offer it. (latter partly depends on how our web team can free up resources to implement those vouchers, as they are very busy upgrading our web stuff and support things)

The oscillators of course have the same visualisation options as Zebralette 3, but they only appear in the bottom tab or in the inflated full-featured editor.

We haven't implemented MPE yet in this alpha as we're still fixing bugs and issues in the voice management. Once we do, it should just work though... we hope...

So will the dark zebra legacy presets work in Zebra 3?

Anyways Zebra 3 look cool and I also didn't expect it to look so similar but that's good, reducing the learning curve.

By the way, I take it that given that the new filters have filter fm, then there will just be those filters, no separate filters and XMF filters right?

But I'm hoping to see a new Tyrell for NAMM hehe!

i think the answer to that is no because it's a new synth and Z2 is still supported. i forget which Z3 thread the details about this were given but remember reading that it's not possible or something.. if you want to use Z2 presets just use Z2 was the general consensus

It looks fantastic!! I'm happy the UI looks basically the same as Zebra2. It will make it very easy for current to get on board!

I think Urs et al have answered the will the Z2 presets work in Z3 probably over 100 times over the years,
it is probably in their FAQ by now.

The answer is no, it won't.

Congrats on pulling together an alpha for NAMM! Looks fascinating.

My only nudge is, Will there be a 32-step note-adjustable sequencer added? I love the one in Zebra Legacy, but it needs more steps!
