Image

If I am trying to layout the scale in a non block chords and have some dynamic chord layouts?

[edit]
Also what about merging compositions bug. Is that something that's being worked on?

Yes, I already wrote about a similar problem. For example, I would like to add different scales to one chord block.

Phrase morpher is a great idea, but in my opinion needs some improvement. Firstly, it would be logical to use it like this: select both phrases for morphing and press the Phrase morpher button to fill the empty space between the phrases. Secondly, I would like to have some adjustments to the morphing, at least a fader for choosing notes as a percentage from the first or second phrase. Thanks.

I would also like to supplement the Phrase Container, for example, by dragging a group or a whole folder from the browser into the Phrase Container. I would also like to supplement it with the adjustment of each phrase in the preference for use in generating the result in percentages. Thank you.

I am trying to understand your question, so, forgive me here..

You have about 11 different ways to get chords into a progression.. so, not sure what you need.. you can also change the length of a bar from the master track by hovering over the boundary, when you see double arrows, then you drag.

What is a non block chord? You can change scale on the master track at a chord position. Right click right under the chord for the menu.

As I understand it, a block is the length of a chord, so you can’t add a scale to the same block (length) of a chord, and to add another scale to the same chord you need to enter a new chord.

I wonder why.. wow... sorry, but, that to me is the dumbest thing I have ever heard of. How many beats in a block?

Is the ANY other application that can do that?

I wouldn't call it a block either )) . It's just the duration of the chord. I'll write again that I'd like to change scales during the duration of one chord, that's the whole problem .))

Understood, but, I see no way of doing that. The scale dictates the chord, so, any change would change the chord.

For example, make 2 chords, a C for 4 beats and another C for 4 beats. Drop one chord the length of both of those. On the second one, change the scale. It will change the chord.

Anything else would break music theory, as I understand it, anyways.

Yes, you are right, I have been doing this for a long time))

Yes indeed, and truly hope you do it for a very long time.

But, I wouldn't change this. It would so mess up a lot in the scheme of things internally. lol, I think I need to lay down now..

Let's say I would like to add
C (hold for 3 measures) Bb C7 (hold for 4 measures)

if I type C Bb C7

I get
C | Bb | C7

if I type out C C C Bb C7 C7 C7 C7
instead of the structure.

I need to first alt click the master track to segment the track or just do the block chords then drag the timeline to adjust the chord lengths.

And, in addition, you could save that to the progression library in the browser so you wouldn't have to make that edit again.

It would also be nice to save the entire Master track including the Master track chords + the scales set under the Master track chords.

You don't have to because if you choose to create the progression from the browser, it puts the chords in already.
