UVI Mosaiq - More Than Kontakt 8 tools in my Falcon!

I know, that UVI doesn't have demos. I already bought Falcon without testing it (and love it), but for this i would definitely love some kind of demo (or light version or whatever) as i don't know, if this concept works for me at all. 100€ is too much for me if i recognize it has no value to me

Use one month of sonic pass to try out everything.

i guess, you know that sonicpass is already 1/4 of the mosaiq introduction price. so, if i like it i would pay already 123€ for mosaiq...(or more later). or if not i still would have paid 24€ just to demo mosaiq (and i have no use right now for the other stuff in sonicpass. beside that, i wouldn't use it as my projects would miss it later, when my mosaiq-"demo" is done). if you have another product i might like in 2 months i pay again 24€ to try it? nope, i'll pass then and see if there's a product in the future where i'm sure i like it from the beginning.

I agree that is a very expensive way to demo. Far below suboptimal.

Melodic MIDI is not very logical as you would'nt be able to play it back, so I don't think we will add this.

Regarding future of Mosaiq by itself, nothing is decided yet.
You already have plenty of presets to have fun with before needing any expansion right now.

From a devellopers point this might be correct, from a user point it definitely is not

And as Falcon HAS evrything you would need for this (I mean maybe you have to "summarize" some midi even if I cant see it cause you use 4 samples for a slot but as far as I got it NOT 4 different sequences inside 1 slot ?), so even that summarized midi pattern/sequence would be helpful to use as starting point for another instrument, sequencer, whatever.

Cause you cant seriously think about making a complete song with these integrated sounds only ? And dragging 4 of your own samples in every slot and arranging them...that would leave nothing from the "easy to use" of it which, for me, makes the greatest charme so far.

For me it really makes the difference between a nice toy and a serious composition help.

And I am sure if I make a poll about it 75 % of the users will agree.

It might compete to Playbox but as soon as the Tools (chords and phrases) in Kontakt 8 are connected so that you can drag and drop every midi phrase in every chord........this is history......

Not to talk about something like The Score which obviously plays in another league.

I mean if you are content with that kind of toy, fine, but I think you just miss a chance to make this something much bigger.

One additional question I just stumbled over: Does preset Randomisation creates a NEW unique preset or just choose one of the existing 1200 randomnly ? Hard to control with no search option and 1200 presets.....

This looks like a nice plugin, but before I buy I want the confirmation from UVI that they will add a Blugrass expansion pack?

We don't have any immediate plan to release expansion and/or add new content to the product, but this is for sure a good platform for us, so we will probably add new stuff in the future.
You are not limited to the style we have highlighted in the presets though, especially as it's all MIDI based.
