Great, can i have a free month of sonic pass then so i can try out this and some other soundbanks as well?otristan wrote: Tue Feb 11, 2025 1:56 pmUse one month of sonic pass to try out everything.audio/fault wrote: Tue Feb 11, 2025 8:21 am I know, that UVI doesn't have demos. I already bought Falcon without testing it (and love it), but for this i would definitely love some kind of demo (or light version or whatever) as i don't know, if this concept works for me at all. 100€ is too much for me if i recognize it has no value to me![]()
Dont you realise how stupid it sounds when you reply, pay us and then you can demo everything we make. I already have a sizable amount of your available content, so i'm paying for access to somethings i already own just to try one other thing.
So i pay this month and then you release something else i like and then i have to pay again and then again next month etc, etc.
That way i am or rather have been a good customer of yours and suddenly i'm paying twice to use things i already own.
It's insulting and annoying so no more purchases from me until you enable demos.
Its seemingly easy enough to get time limited demos with ilok, i have about a dozen still on my ilok key from demos from nicer companies than yours. They didn't try and force me to pay to demo something i wanted to buy and most of them i subsequently purchased.
Mac mini m4 pro, Reaper, too many plugins, Modal Argon8, Novation Circuit Mono Station and now a lovely Waldorf Blofeld.

This is definetely a smart function, in the meantime I thought it must be that way and it really works well and musically most of the times.otristan wrote: Thu Feb 13, 2025 5:00 pmIt creates a new unique preset (name is randomize) with a smart Sample selection, as well as a new chord progression, fx chain, sound and Motion settingstatanka wrote: Tue Feb 11, 2025 6:51 pm One additional question I just stumbled over: Does preset Randomisation creates a NEW unique preset or just choose one of the existing 1200 randomnly ? Combine this with the mutate button and it can make you addicted very soon. For me that is really kind of the centre of Mosaiq for now as it really works better and more interesting of most of comparable randomn/morph preset generators I know. I got some vocalish athmo pads stuff I would never have imagined for myself (not to talk about even if HOW to make something like this).
This part of it is really well done
One thing I wonder about: does it matters WHERE you hit the button, which preset, category or expansion you have loaded when hitting the randomn button ?
From the results I wont think but if possible that would be great to maybe have influence on it this way as kind of ingoing parameters. But dont really matter, just an idea, works great the way it works

I mean like it's possible to change the key to click on it and change it for instance from C to F, would be nice if it's possible also to click on the chord slots and change it to a certain chord instead of the chord learn.otristan wrote: Tue Feb 11, 2025 1:55 pmNot sure I follow.MADMANJ wrote: Tue Feb 11, 2025 10:57 am Looks like it's only possible to change the main key and not the slot chords itself? only if i adjust note by note or use chord-learn? Do I overlook something? I just want to change a chord for each slot so that the notes will be adjusted itself?
That what the chord learn is for, if you only want to change the chord of one slot.

Sorry if these have been asked already, but can you drag the chords out into your daw as midi? In the chord slot screen where you choose your 5 keys and sounds, can you choose a chord or do you have to make a chord manually via selecting separate notes?

There are no chord dictionnary, you have to learn it. but you can learn the whole chord in one go using your MIDI keyboard (no need to change key one by one manualy)m-ac wrote: Fri Feb 14, 2025 7:23 pm In the chord slot screen where you choose your 5 keys and sounds, can you choose a chord or do you have to make a chord manually via selecting separate notes?

Yes midi out would be cool, I can’t add the midi out in edit page.
I bought mosaic because I thought it was easy to play other falcon libraries like vintage vault - but I wasn’t able transfer the midi. The only thing that works is midi file export, that doesn’t flexible react to my input notes.
Also it would be cool to share these midi chords and progressions to all falcon libraries, so that I can select them in edit page, address them as presets if I own mosaic

Thanks, Since posting, I noticed you can drag the whole sequence of chords into your daw as midi. It would be nice if you could also drag single chords out so you can arrange them easier in your daw.otristan wrote: Mon Feb 17, 2025 9:12 amYesm-ac wrote: Fri Feb 14, 2025 7:23 pm Sorry if these have been asked already, but can you drag the chords out into your daw as midi? There are no chord dictionnary, you have to learn it. but you can learn the whole chord in one go using your MIDI keyboard (no need to change key one by one manualy)m-ac wrote: Fri Feb 14, 2025 7:23 pm In the chord slot screen where you choose your 5 keys and sounds, can you choose a chord or do you have to make a chord manually via selecting separate notes?
Regarding the second point, it'd be nice if mosaiq offered a chord suggestion / selector, and a chord randomiser in the chord slots. I would think a large portion of the userbase for this library are using it to have chord suggestions rather than creating their own from scratch?

Chord suggestion is basically what all the chord progression are about, but there is no intelligent suggestion indeed (probably very tricky to do)

Ah, love the sounds but I'm not a fan of the concept. Wish it could be played chromatically. I get *why* it can't, but I also would have a way to fit it into my workflow if it could.

Could you imagine to devellop this in the way I mentioned ? As you have all these expansions/styles already (and sure more to come....) it would be really great (and kind of unique) to have them influence in a way (however...) the randomn generated preset. This would be much cooler then for example by category (pad, pluck......). I have no idea if this is possible at all but as I mentioned the way you generate these randomn presets is already awesome, so.....otristan wrote: Mon Feb 17, 2025 9:10 amThe "from" do not change the results of Randomtatanka wrote: Thu Feb 13, 2025 6:51 pm One thing I wonder about: does it matters WHERE you hit the button, which preset, category or expansion you have loaded when hitting the randomn button ?

Well, the mutate (next to random) kinda do this.
