SixSines took a while to get into but once I got going I had to remember to make an actual track.
So, the guys we hired got bored and went to the bar leaving us with this ape and a drum kit. Um, enjoy.

Using Bitwig Studio 5.3 this month with 12 instances of SixSines. In spite of this synth's lack of built in effects, I didn't feel the need to add too much more so the following additional plugins were used:
- The usual Clip to Zero trio of dpMeter5, Blue Cat Gain 3 and KClip Zero
- The inevitable ValhallaSupermassive to try to push everything back a bit
- Raum for some reverb variety
- TDR Molotok on the percussion buss
- TDR Nova and Kotelnikov on master
- Bitwig's EQ+ and Compressor

Spending some of my Saturday listening to all the amazing tracks. Thank you all so much for investing in this little synth which was just a math exploration in December, and for all your great ideas which made it better. And for sharing your music and creativity with everyone here. This has been a great experience as a dev, and I appreciate the time and creativity you all invested!

You've been a dream dev for the OSC, making it a very memorable month. Even if I didn't get to make a "proper" track, but I promise to make it up to you later. Six Sines is a revelation and I'll definitely continue to follow your progress, hoping you'll continue with it. But even as it is, it's a little go-to for me in the future, no doubt!baconpaul wrote: Sat Mar 01, 2025 4:52 pm Spending some of my Saturday listening to all the amazing tracks. Thanks also to Taron for the excellent videos - these really helped unlocking the mystery of fm synthesis!
I played quite a bit with this synth and learned a lot. Wanted to complete a track - but life got in the way again.

Really impressed by Six Sines and what you achieved in such a short time @baconpaul
We are all truly grateful to your commitment and zeal to create such a wonderful piece of software and gift it to the world.
I wish I could spend more time with it to explore its unlimited potential even more, but I will keep coming back to it. It's truly one of the best ones out there.

I also had a bunch of stuff going on that prevented me from making anything more than a crappy 8-bar loop, but I also just wanted to second, third... fourth? One-hundredth. Yes, one-hundredth how much you are appreciated, Paul. Helping shepherd Surge was the start, but your contributions to the audio software community are incredibly valuable -- synths, libraries, especially helping to get a true open standard -- CLAP accessible, and just being an all-around great guy! So, thank you!

@baconpaul - yes yes yes to everything said before. Also, I'd like to thank you for your quick responses to requests and "bugs", and for providing nightly's with fixes/new features.
Also, many thanks for engaging in a professional way with us here, even if we have some odd ideas
(Some of which might end up in 6sines).

Cool entries this month, btw. I may end up too high on a fairness score, but won't regret it. Great work ppl.
